Der Name Bertschi ist bei Yachteignern ein Begriff, seine Koch- und Back-Herde auf Petrol- oder Kerosin-Basis sind legendär. Beim Kochherd sorgt die doppelwandige Ausführung für eine wesentlich höhere Backtemperatur und minimalen Energieverlust. Die selbstreinigenden Brenner - mit separaten Absperrventilen - sind leicht ausbau- und reparierbar und garantieren optimale Wärmeübertragung. Weltumsegler berichten, dass sie mit einem Tank von 50 Litern etwa ein ganzes Jahr lang kochen und backen konnten. Die Backzeit für 2 Kg Brot beträgt ca. 40 Minuten.
The name Bertschi is well known among yacht owners, the petroleum and kerosene powered cooking and baking stoves are legendary. The cooking stove achieves thanks to its double-wall construction a significantly higher baking temperature with minimal losses. The self-cleaning burner with separate shut-off valves are easy to change and repair and guarantee optimum heat transfer. Long distance sailors report that a single filling of the fuel tank (ca. 50 litres) lasted them an entire year to cook and bake. The baking time for a 2 kg of bread is ca. 40 minutes.
